Lake Fork Men’s Golf Association
Plays on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting at 8:30. Annual membership is $30 which mostly covers the cost of burgers and chips after the monthly tournament and “closest to the pins” during the tournament.
- Monday is a Scramble or Shamble and cost is $5. Teams will be divided up as fair as possible. One team wins all.
- Tuesday is called Dogfight (points); play your own ball and tally up your points, 1 for bogey, 2 for par, 4 for birdie and 8 for eagle. Cost is $10-$6 for the match and $4 for skins. There will be an A & B group.
- Wednesday is Handicap (after 5 rounds) a handicap will be established. Cost is $10-$6 for match and $4 for skins. There will be an A & B group.
- Men younger than 60 hit from White tees; 60-74 hit from Gold tees and 75 and over hit from Red tees. You are allowed a club length no closer to the hole and pick up once you have double bogey.
Grover group
Plays a scramble Thursday thru Sunday at 9:00. Cost is $5 and teams will be divided up to make it fair as possible. Gimmies within the leather and pick up with double bogey.
Bombers
Plays Thursday at 8:30. Fee is $10, all players tee off from White tees, play the ball down and putt out regardless of the score.
Lake Fork Ladies Golf Association
Annual cost is $30 which covers the cost of our end of season luncheon and the prize for most improved golfer. Ladies play on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 10:00 until June 1 st when their tee time changes to 9:30. The ladies group is a casual group of ladies that just like to have fun.
